President Obama Fills Out his bracket
How dare the president take two minutes to fill out a NCAA basketball bracket?
He has been criticized and condemned for it. Mostly by people who never likes anything he does. I would think they would be happy any time our leader is doing anything besides governing. Of course that would mean shutting their over active pie holes.
I filled out my bracket tonight. It took me less than two minutes total. The president probably spent about the same amount of time. I checked – not a single crisis was affected by my two minutes but I suspect Rushing Windbaugh would tell you the earthquake in Japan was the result of Obama taking two minutes out of watching the world to do something as mindless as predicting basketball.
He would also tell you many other lies if you are stupid enough to listen.
Pat White Quits Baseball
I was surprised last night when I saw several media outlets announcing Pat White, the former star of the West Virginia football team was quitting baseball. I wasn’t surprised he quit I was just surprised I was reading about it last night.
It happened in February!

WVU loses in Big East Tourny
The West Virginia Mountaineers lost last night to Marquette in the Big East tournament. I would like to say they were robbed by the officials. I would like to say they caught some bad breaks. I would like to say a lot of things. What I will say is they were lucky.
They lost by six points and they were lucky it wasn’t twenty-six. They didn’t defend in transition. They made terrible shot choices. I think Huggins had the wrong personnel in the game when their nine minute field goal drought happened in the second half. I think a lot of things.
Most of all I think this team can be great or they can be average, depending on the night. The good news is they will be in the NCAA tournament. They will probably be a six or seven seed. They will give other teams nightmares if they play like they are capable.
Last night I was disappointed but not discouraged. Next week I hope to be elated. Only time will tell.

Kemba Walker love fest
Listening to the ESPN announcers at the Big East tournament is nauseating. All they seem to talk about is their love for Kemba Walker. The UCONN guard is good but for God’s sake he is not that good. He puts up 30 shots, makes 10 and everyone talks about him averaging 20. I could average 20 if I shot as much as he does.
If and that’s a big IF Connecticut gets by Georgetown today, Pitt will destroy Kemba Walker and the rest of the Huskies. They will be spanked like a Charlie Sheen Goddess. As I write this they are comparing Walker to Chris Paul and Steve Nash. I think he should skip the NBA and immediately go to the basketball Hall of Fame.
Poor Charlie Sheen
Warner Bros just announced they are terminating the contract with Charlie Sheen. It’s about time. Now I can actually get some work done on Monday nights until Castle comes on the television. With Big Bang and Rules of Engagement moved to Thursdays I have no more need to watch TV on Mondays except for ABC’s Castle. Those shows, CBS calls comedies, that are left on Monday just aren’t funny.
Charlie Sheen may not be a role model but one thing is for sure – he is hilarious on Two and Half Men. It’s the reason we all watched the show. We didn’t watch it for a moral compass. We all knew Sheen is wild. In fact the character he played on Two and Half Men was himself with a different last name. A woman chasing, booze drinking uncle who teaches kids how to bet the spread. Maybe not the guy you want babysitting but certainly the guy you want to make you laugh.
Trump …and another thing
Donald, Donald , Donald…what is the point of having a Playboy Play Mate on Celebrity Apprentice if you don’t show her? I never ever remember watching a show with a play mate with less exposure and if it’s one thing I know about it is Playboy Playmates being exposed.
I have studied the issue so much I deserve a Masters Degree!
Trump picks liar over aging heart throb
On Celebrity Apprentice last night, Trump, when given a choice between an honest man and a liar, chose to keep the liar. This says a lot for his way of thinking and now we know why he wants to dive into politics – because he likes to associate with people who don’t appreciate the truth as a way of communicating.
Richard Hatch is a liar we all saw that. David Cassidy told the truth we all saw that. Donald fired David we all saw that . These facts are not disputable.
Donald prefers lying spineless bullies we can all deduce that one. Could it be because he is one? I would guess yes.
Hatch makes for good TV I understand. So do nut shots but I wouldn’t want either around me. So Trump did me a great favor and freed up an hour (sometimes two) of my future.
Thank you Donald – you liar preferring huckster.
West Virginia wins and Duke loses
Any day that West Virginia wins a basketball game is a good day but when it falls on a day Duke loses it’s a great day.
WVU made a miracle come back against Louisville in Morgantown and Duke got schooled versus North Carolina. Now it’s on to the Big East tournament with a sixth seed and a first round bye for the Mountaineers and who cares for Duke as long as they lose.
American Idol Stinks
What a crock! After 40 million votes the judges still put through their pets. The diva needs to go! If I know of anyone voting for her I will drive to your house and crap on your porch.
Oh and one other thing – how stupid do they think we are? How friggin’ convenient, the judges weren’t ready with their picks and they just happened to have J Lo’s video ready to go. Do you really think we are that dumb.
This weeks show was designed to see how badly they can treat their viewers without them changing channels.

Duke over Clemson
Watching Duke on ESPN last night reminded me of something I tried to forget – they have the most classless fans in sports.
Their basketball team gets the benefit of doubt on every call but the fans still cry when they get whistled. The other thing I was reminded is that ESPN’s announcers are idiots. Believe it or not a couple of us own DVRs. We can replay action without your help. Do you realize how stupid you look when I replay a block you applauded for being “clean” and it clearly shows the Duke Puke shoving the Clemson player in the stomach with the off hand? When I say “shove” I am being nice. If that shove was in any where else but a sports venue the Duke cheater would be arrested for assault.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Coach K teaches his players to cheat so much the refs couldn’t possibly call everything or the game would be over in 4 minutes due to Duke following out their whole team. Starters, reserves, team managers and assistant coaches!
The only thing anyone could possibly respect Duke for is – they play pretty good for a team that has the handicap of having Dick Vitale’s lips securely latched on to their butts during every game.
