Hope Solo Booted from Dancing

I haven’t seen a single episode of Dancing with the Stars this season but I see the viewers and judges are still idiots. I read this morning they voted off Hope Solo. She is not only one of America’s Olympians she is also hot as a Summer sidewalk.

I understand the judges. Between the three of them, I would guess Carrie Ann Inaba has been with the most women, so this is understandable. The viewers on the other hand is another story. They could be bitter jealous women, who failed to vote Miss Solo to the next round or blind men. My guess is something else.

Men too lazy to vote!

Guys if you are going to watch this trash instead of Monday Night Football you need to vote. If you don’t you are going to subjected to a final round of Beefalos and butter (but her) faces. Neither fun to watch.

It’s none of my business but when I have watched episodes of this fluffed up talent show it wasn’t for the witty repartee of Tom Bergeron. It was for the female dancers, in next to nothing, the occasional “star” with Hope Solo type looks and of course the tremendous assets of Brooke Burke.

There will always be Brooke but the other two take votes or the last couple of weeks, your wife makes you sit through, will be the equivalent of judging a beauty contest at Band Camp.

This year is lost but remember my words for next year before another finals is missing a long legged, beauty like Hope Solo.

Vikings, Packers Monday Night Football

I caught about half of tonight’s MNF. I didn’t think Minnesota would give Green Bay much trouble and I was right. I would of watched more but I couldn’t take any more of the Aaron Rodgers love fest.

I understand the Packers quarterback is a great player having a career year but the man crushes displayed by Gruden and Jaworski were making me nauseous. I am pretty sure, by the sounds of the telecast, they were going to try to slip Rodgers their room keys and maybe more. I haven’t sheard such a display of affection since the last time Dick Vitale announced a Duke game.

Two and a Half Men – New low

I watched tonight’s episode of Two and a Half Men to see if it had gotten any better. I was surprised. It was a great show if you think mental illness, murder, suicide, teenage pregnancy and coveting your neighbor’s companion is funny. Unfortunately for me I don’t.

I think crisp, witty writing makes a show funny. I also think Two and a Half Men is done. CBS should cancel it before the once proud ratings star is an embarrassment to their Monday lineup.

Right now the show is still getting excellent ratings but the trend is comparable to an anchor floating as soon as it hits water. Sure it looks like it is afloat for a moment before it plunges to the depths of the ocean.

Two and Half Men is plunging fast and taking Ashton Kutcher’s career with it.

The whole thing is a shame and should be ended as soon as possible.

Sunday Sports

Today’s sports was better than yesterdays – I guess. Yesterday my West Virginia Mountaineers lost to Louisville. My neighbors are Louisville fans so I have to avoid them for a week or two. Much like the West Virginia defense avoids the ball carriers this year. Geno Smith throws for 400 yards and we lose? Not exactly the way it is supposed to work.

Today I watched the Saints beat the Tampa Bay Bucs. I was for Tampa but I wasn’t as invested as I am during a WVU game. I also watched Tony Stewart win his fourth Chase race. He is now three points behind Carl Edwards for the points lead. Should be a good contest to the last lap at Homestead.

Tim Tebow and the Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders. I don’t live and die with Tebow but I love watching ESPN’s talking heads try to explain why Denver should bench a QB who wins games.

No Tiger Woods or Paula Creamer today so I skipped golf.

There is a game on right now but we have so many things set to DVR that I can’t watch it and I don’t even remember who is playing.

Seemed like a good sports weekend till I wrote this post. I guess it was pretty bad in reality. I am not sure even Creamer could of saved this weekend.

Lindsay Lohan to jail but first…..

A judge ordered Lindsay Lohan to go to jail for breaking her probation but first she will be allowed to finish her Playboy shoot. How cool is this judge? Wouldn’t it be great if any women who are convicted of crimes and looked like a movie star were ordered to pose naked for a National Magazine or our website? Sure we don’t do nudity as a rule on ClubHusband.com but we would be willing to study the pictures and think about it for a long, long time before making any hasty predetermined decisions..

Scarlett Johansson makes no apologies for nude photos

Scarlett Johansson makes no apologies for nude photos and she shouldn’t. It is us who should apologize. We should say we are deeply sorry, Scarlett, for not sending you a hand written thank you note.

The photos that I saw, while doing my highly credited research on nude starlets, were nothing to be sorry about. The lighting was good. The angles were provocative. The subject was amazing. All in all I would say the photo shoot was successful.

In fact it is my advice, Scarlett should not only refrain from remorse but she should celebrate her digital gems with another set of pictures. If not for the masses at least for the readers of ClubHusband.com because we are the kind of guys who enjoy such things.

B of A Does the Right Thing

Bank of America reversed their decision to charge customers $5 to use their debit cards. This is a good thing but a ridiculously unneeded action. It is unneeded because the bank should of never made the original decision to charge people using debit cards in the first place.

Is Bank of America really that stupid and if they are, are you stupid enough to let them hang on to your cash. I don’t know about you but I like having someone with an IQ higher than a rock in charge of what little money I possess.

One of the biggest banks in the world, thought no one would mind, if every time a customer bought a soda with a debit card worth $1.29, they wouldn’t mind paying $6.29? Doesn’t sound like geniuses to me!

So my advice to you is; if you pulled your money from B of A because of the charges – keep it pulled! Don’t let their, oops sorry, sway you back in until their next blunder.

Or should I say plunder?
