Sunday Sports
Today’s sports was better than yesterdays – I guess. Yesterday my West Virginia Mountaineers lost to Louisville. My neighbors are Louisville fans so I have to avoid them for a week or two. Much like the West Virginia defense avoids the ball carriers this year. Geno Smith throws for 400 yards and we lose? Not exactly the way it is supposed to work.
Today I watched the Saints beat the Tampa Bay Bucs. I was for Tampa but I wasn’t as invested as I am during a WVU game. I also watched Tony Stewart win his fourth Chase race. He is now three points behind Carl Edwards for the points lead. Should be a good contest to the last lap at Homestead.
Tim Tebow and the Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders. I don’t live and die with Tebow but I love watching ESPN’s talking heads try to explain why Denver should bench a QB who wins games.
No Tiger Woods or Paula Creamer today so I skipped golf.
There is a game on right now but we have so many things set to DVR that I can’t watch it and I don’t even remember who is playing.
Seemed like a good sports weekend till I wrote this post. I guess it was pretty bad in reality. I am not sure even Creamer could of saved this weekend.
Dale Jr, Sharapova and Paula Creamer
I spent today cooking a brisket low and slow with Dale Earnhardt Jr, Maria Sharapova and Paula Creamer. If that is not a great Sunday I don’t know what is. Sure granted the sports stars weren’t actually with me but given the size of my 73 inch TV they sure looked like it.
Dale Jr had a decent day finishing 14th. Paula Creamer scared the winner a little and finished two back while looking great in pink. Maria Sharapova survived over 60 unforced errors to win her tournament – a tune up for the U.S. Open. The brisket, after eight hours, turned out tender and moist. So all in all it was a very successful day for me and my sporting friends.
Paula Creamer loses but we win
| Paula Creamer |
Paula Creamer failed to defend her U.S. Open title but we won because of rain. The rain stopped play several times during the LPGA U.S. Open this weekend and every time Paula Creamer changed clothes. Her look was everything from long shorts to short skirts.
I have to admit Paula proved me wrong this week. It has always been my contention that long, knee length, shorts were the main reason most golfers don’t get the TV coverage Creamer gets. I was way wrong on this one. Yesterday Paula Creamer wore a pair of shorts just barely above the knee and she looked great of course. So I have to admit it’s not the clothes that make the girl golfer, it’s the girl golfer who makes the clothes.
Granted I liked her next change much better. After the final delay she came out this morning in a short pair of trademark pink shorts and she was by far the best looking thing on the course and probably every other course in the world.
She may not have won the 2011 Open but the 2010 winner will always be our favorite.
Paula Creamer still the Best
| Paula Creamer |
Paula Creamer didn’t win this weekend. She came in 7th or something near there. I don’t care! I would still rather watch Paula Creamer miss a golf shot than any other player (except for maybe Gulbis and Rawson) make a shot.
Her All American good looks and her clothes, which actually look like they were made for a woman, set her apart from the field. Her customary pink was in display again today as she toured the course. You would think some of the other LPGA members would get a clue and start to use their feminine wiles to obtain endorsements.
If not they may continue to best her on the course but Paula Creamer’s bank account will continue to grow as fast as her male following.
LPGA Stinks like rotten fish
Today I recorded the LPGA final round from Galloway, NJ. I fast forwarded through it to find Paula Creamer…….not one shot!
If you don’t want me to watch your coverage just say so.
Yesterday their coverage was great. Lots of Paula shots. It’s not a lot to ask is it? For a TV network to cover the most popular player in the country she lives should be an easy one. There are millions and millions of golf fans who want to see her play. There are millions and millions of hot blonde fans who want to see her play. The Golf Network has cameras at the course. Point them towards Creamer!
Paula Creamer Almost Makes My Weekend
Paula Creamer playing match play yesterday was as gorgeous as usual but she ruined my Sunday. I was clicking around the TV yesterday waiting for the NASCAR All Star race when I saw a familiar sight. It was, of course Paula Creamer bent over a putt in a short golf skirt. In case you wondered her legs are as shapely as ever. She was leading Angela Stanford in match play thus guaranteeing me something worth watching today. Then it happened.
Stanford got hot. No not as hot as Paula looks but certainly enough to catch Paula Creamer and pass her. Stanford ending up winning and I am stuck with nothing to watch.
Sure I could watch Nationwide racing but I am guessing Kyle Busch is racing and I hate him. He already led to me giving up M&M’s and changing dog food after 22 years of serving Pedigree to my Boxers.
This is all because Paula Creamer, in her constant desire to look cute and impress us, forgot to win. Paula the red skirt and ribbon in your hair did remind us of why we watch the LPGA but still please in the future remember to finish the opponent because we really like you best on the last day when you are all in pink and the only woman on the tour who realizes it’s okay to be feminine and a great golfer too.
Thursday Night
Today I watched a little golf. When I say a little – I mean a little. Oh there was a whole lot of hitting a little white ball with golf clubs but it wasn’t much golf. Tiger Woods is 70th out 81 players after one round. I have never seen him play that badly. He couldn’t of thrown the ball onto a fairway. Before it was over he even hit a TV tower.
Speaking of golf today is our favorite golfers birthday. Paula Creamer turned 24. Happy Birthday Paula – we hope it was a good one.
In my world not much was going on here. It was so hot it was hard to get motivated to do anything but sweat. Have you ever sweated so hard you had to rest afterward?
I did go to lunch today. It was pretty good. I had smoked pork shoulder, cheese potatoes and Indian stew. As you can tell I am quite the health nut. Healthy or not it was good food and I enjoyed it.
Paula Creamer Wins U.S. Open
Paula Creamer looking as good as always in a short white skirt and a pink shirt out paced the field to win the 2010 U.S. Open.
Her play this week matched her All American good looks and our favorite golfer made us proud.
It’s nice for a change to see a woman who looks like a female win a LPGA golf tournament.
Congratulations Paula Creamer!
Paul Creamer Minus 1 after 1 at LPGA Championship
Paul Creamer Minus 1 after 1 at LPGA Championship but more importantly she started the second round in a short white skirt, black shirt and of course coordinating shoes and visor.
Paula was also sporting her trademark pony tail and All American smile. It’s been awhile since we have seen her on TV and take it from us she looks as good as ever.
Paula Creamer and thumb surgery
Paula Creamer is recovering from thumb surgery and it is reported she will be back on tour “soon”. What I don’t understand is……..why did she miss any tournaments at all?
Is someone under the impression, we watch the LPGA to see golf? Are you people idiots? We don’t care if Paula plays or not. We would be perfectly happy if she just walked around the course in her tight shorts or short skirts. Maybe she could retrieve the other players golf balls from the holes after they putt? That is our favorite part of Paula Creamer’s game any way.
