My new favorite sports caster – Jenn Brown

Jenn Brown is my new favorite sports caster. I don’t care who or what she interviews I want to see it on camera. There is nothing more irritating than her doing an interview during a game and the director not going to a shot of Jenn.

We don’t sit through 30 minutes of college ball just to hear her voice!

Sunday Sports

Today’s sports was better than yesterdays – I guess. Yesterday my West Virginia Mountaineers lost to Louisville. My neighbors are Louisville fans so I have to avoid them for a week or two. Much like the West Virginia defense avoids the ball carriers this year. Geno Smith throws for 400 yards and we lose? Not exactly the way it is supposed to work.

Today I watched the Saints beat the Tampa Bay Bucs. I was for Tampa but I wasn’t as invested as I am during a WVU game. I also watched Tony Stewart win his fourth Chase race. He is now three points behind Carl Edwards for the points lead. Should be a good contest to the last lap at Homestead.

Tim Tebow and the Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders. I don’t live and die with Tebow but I love watching ESPN’s talking heads try to explain why Denver should bench a QB who wins games.

No Tiger Woods or Paula Creamer today so I skipped golf.

There is a game on right now but we have so many things set to DVR that I can’t watch it and I don’t even remember who is playing.

Seemed like a good sports weekend till I wrote this post. I guess it was pretty bad in reality. I am not sure even Creamer could of saved this weekend.

Creamer , Earnhardt, Pat White and my weekend.

Last night on the Golf Channel they finally decided to show Paula Creamer a little more often. She missed four or five birdie puts but she looked great doing it in her usual fourth round pink skirt and matching everything. I don’t remember her bogeying a hole and she finished a respectable 10 under and tied with Natalie Gulbis for thirteenth.

Dale Jr pitted under green and a couple of laps later caution comes out and he is caught 2 laps down. Another great day in the life of an Earnhardt fan.

In the Miami Dolphin’s game Pennington was injured and they brought in the other hanging Chad – Henne. He looked just like he did at Michigan – great when it is an easy game. Unfortunately this wasn’t an easy game and he looked horrible. Throwing a pick six to seal the game for the Chargers.

The Dolphins decided in their 0-3 wisdom to look past the rookie from WVU, Pat White, and use Henne their emergency QB. Nice call!

People (idiots) say White is not ready to run the Wildcat. First of all when he comes in they use the spread. Second of all, saying Pat White isn’t capable of running a spread offense is like saying Bill Gates doesn’t know how to operate Windows.

The Chargers blitzed, blitzed and then for good measure blitzed some more when Henne was in. Try that with Pat White and you better warm up your kick return team.
